Colin Simmons leads the nation with 10.5 sacks and 16 tackles for loss in six games, and he is expected to miss Saturday. Nobody has answered who actually rushes Trinidad Chambliss without him. The size of the hole: 8.5 of those sacks came in his last three games. He has 31.5 career sacks in 35 games, nine short of the Texas all-time record, and he set the school's single-game record at Tennessee with 5.5. Against Missouri, meanwhile, Ole Miss ran for 257 at 6.7 a carry against the nation's No. 8 run defense - and Pete Golding said the line could "plug and play and move Kutas over and not really miss a beat." The counterweight: Golding called the Texas defense "a really, really talented defense. Very, very good scheme, very multiple," and praised a front that can pressure with four. Texas does not line up one man. Second segment: Edwin Joseph had a tightrope procedure in Birmingham on Wednesday, Oct. 14. Golding then: "It's normally a 10-14 day process depending on how the rehab goes." Oct. 14 plus 10 days is Oct. 24 - Saturday. Joseph was out against Missouri. Saturday is the first day he could be back by his own head coach's number. Does Joseph play Saturday? Comments. Locked On Ole Miss Hits - quick takes on the Rebels every weekday.
